I was honoured to be asked to come up with a design for a Harvest Torch for the National Harvest Service to be taken from venue to venue each year. I came up with an initial design and this was refined with discussion with the Love British Food team.
I was delighted when my design was chosen and they asked me to make it for the 2014 National Harvest Service at Birmingham cathedral on 20th October.
This piece was both enjoyable to make and a challenge. I had never made apples out of steel before but I am really quite pleased with how they came out.
